Friday evening was a highly anticipated event for me with the return of new episodes of Battlestar Galactica.  So when I turned it over to the Scifi channel a few minutes before it was to begin, I found the all too familiar “searching for satellite” error.  I missed the first few minutes of the show as I ran to my parents house so that I could watch it in their basement.

I’ve emailed directv and they setup someone to come out and fix their shit.  Only problem is they are charging me $80 to fix something that isn’t my fault.  That’s utter crap!

Need a refurbed mini?

People often complain about the price of Apple products, so one of the best options to pick up that laptop (or desktop) is to find the refurb items on their site *here*. However, I think someone screwed up.

That’s the only reasonable thought I can come up with for a $649 refurb 1.66ghz Core duo mini w/ 512mb or ram & 80gb HD. Especially when you can purchase a brand new mini for $599 w/ 1gb ram, 80gb HD and a 1.83 core 2 duo. Maybe that refurb would be reasonable at $429?
