Red sky at night, sailor’s delight

Yesterday afternoon we got a decent downpour of rain that seemed to just pop up out of nowhere. Not only did the clouds bring the rain, but fall temperatures hitched a ride as well. Once the rain stopped, I went outside and caught some really vibrant color in the clouds.

I went back inside to grab my camera and caught this photo. The colors were already fading, but I still thought it was worth posting. If only the mess of power lines weren’t in the way.

Almost forgot

On my drive south from DC back home, I stopped at a huge gas station to fill up. Walked around to the pump and noticed not the usual 3 options (87,89, and 91 or 93 octane) but also a 95 octane option. I had to go for that since it was only $2.91 and I know that my car really liked 93 octane.

So here is a photo of the 95 octane pump that I forgot to post before.
